To make it more effective and to offer more security features to the WordPress users, GoDaddy announced the procession privately-held WordPress security vendor Sccuri on March 22. The financial aspects of this deal are still under the cover. It is expected that the new inclusion will offer more security to the users as the Sucuri is popular for offering the best security to the users.
Sucuri is widely used by the providers for its research abilities that can help in multiple sets of disclosures. In addition, it can protect the WordPress from the security breach and can protect from many unknown vulnerabilities. Now WordPress will be more secure than ever with Sucuri. The recent update of the WordPress 4.7.2 that was done in January 2017 was intended to patch impactful unauthorized content injection exposure in WordPress REST API was first reported and discovered by Sucuri. In fact, the latest update that was released in March was discovered by the Sucuri. It was intended to benefit the WordPress from the patches for vulnerabilities.

GoDaddy has been trying to offer more security features to the users to protect their sites. It has been also including some new features to make the WordPress more useful. Since the last few years, it has been doing a constant effort to improve the user experience. For this reason, the service is getting more success in the last couple of years. In December 2016, it purchased Host Europe Group for $1.79 billion. In that month only, it also purchased WordPress services firm WP Curve.
It is evident from the result of the 2016 fiscal year; GoDaddy is getting more financial success than ever. It had reported the total revenue of $1.8 billion with fifteen percent growth every year.
